Kilt Making In-Person Course Agreement
Kilt Making In-Person Course Agreement
By ticking the box below, you (“Learner”) agree to the following terms with Paula Duncan (“Instructor”) regarding in-person kilt-making classes:
1. Scope of Instruction
The course is delivered in-person at the designated location.
Learners will receive guidance, instruction, and materials necessary to complete the agreed course, such as techniques for pleating, kilt-making processes, and associated methods.
2. Intellectual Property & Confidentiality
All course materials, methods, and instructional content are the exclusive property of the Instructor.
You may not share, copy, reproduce, or distribute materials without written consent.
Posting course content in external groups, forums, or platforms without consent is prohibited.
3. Non-Commercial Use
You may not teach, offer, or share kilt-making instruction commercially that competes with the Instructor without prior written consent.
You may not use Instructor methods or materials for financial gain without permission.
4. Conduct During Classes
Learners must act respectfully toward the Instructor, other participants, and the learning environment.
Any behaviour that disrupts the class or breaches the Agreement may result in removal from the course without refund.
5. In-Person Classes – Cancellations & Refunds
A 14-day cooling-off period applies from the date of booking, in line with UK Consumer Contracts Regulations, unless the course starts within that 14-day period.
If you cancel within the 14-day period and the course has not started, you are entitled to a full refund.
If the course starts within the 14-day period and you choose to proceed, you acknowledge that you waive your right to cancel once the course has commenced.
Cancellations made more than 14 days before the course start date may be eligible for a refund or transfer, at the discretion of Paula Duncan Bespoke Kilt Making.
Cancellations made within 14 days of the course start date are non-refundable, as places are limited and preparation costs are incurred.
Where possible, a transfer to a future course date may be offered instead of a refund.
In the unlikely event that Paula Duncan Bespoke Kilt Making cancels or reschedules a course, you will be offered a full refund or alternative date.
Nothing in these terms affects your statutory consumer rights.
6. Privacy
Your personal data will only be used for course administration and communication.
Data will not be shared with third parties without consent. See the Privacy Policy [link].
7. Governing Law
This Agreement is governed by the laws of Scotland, United Kingdom.
