Kilt Making Online Course Agreement - Pleating to Sett

By ticking the box below, you (“Learner”) agree to the following terms with Paula Duncan (“Instructor”) regarding the Pleating to Sett Online Course and all associated digital kilt-making instructions.

1. Scope of Instruction

  • The course is delivered entirely online via digital content (videos, PDFs, images, tutorials).

  • This course focuses on pleating to sett.

  • Learners receive 2-year access to all course instructions and materials from the date of purchase.

2. Intellectual Property & Confidentiality

  • All course content is the exclusive property of the Instructor.

  • You may not share, copy, reproduce, or distribute materials without written permission.

  • Posting content in external groups, forums, or platforms without consent is prohibited.

3. Digital Access

  • You must not interfere with or block the Instructor’s access to course platforms or content.

  • Attempts to limit access or oversight of digital content constitute a breach of this Agreement.

4. Non-Commercial Use

  • You may not teach, offer, or share kilt-making instruction commercially that competes with the Instructor without written consent.

  • You may not use Instructor methods or materials for financial gain without consent.

 5. Conduct in Online Platforms

  • You may not promote or share external courses or training within the Instructor’s platforms.

  • Violations may result in removal from the course without refund, except as required for faulty digital content under UK law.

6. Refunds

  • You may request a refund within 14 days of purchase only if you have not accessed or downloaded any course content.

  • Accessing, downloading, or using any digital content within the 14-day period is considered acceptance of the course and waives your right to a refund.

  • Refund requests must be emailed to [paula@pauladuncankilts.com] and will be processed within 14 days.

7. Privacy

  • Your personal data will only be used for course administration and communication.

  • Data will not be shared with third parties without consent. See the Privacy Policy [link].

8. Governing Law

  • This Agreement is governed by the laws of Scotland, United Kingdom.

9. Acceptance

By ticking the box below, you confirm that you:

  • Have read and understood this Agreement,

  • Agree to its terms, and

  • Understand that accessing content within 14 days waives your refund rights, and

  • Understand that the course provides 2-year access to instructions for the Pleating to Sett course.
